Information Provided by User
Each User may provide information that could be deemed personal information (“Personal Information”), which is information that could be used to identify the User such as User’s name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address. Personal Information does not include technical information such as unique device identifiers, randomly assigned unique identifiers in cookies, mobile device name, timestamp, or IP addresses.
User’s Responsibilities
User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of User’s username and password, and User is responsible for all uses of User’s account, whether or not User authorized the use. User shall immediately notify QuikPark upon becoming aware of any unauthorized use of User’s account.
Information QuikPark Collects
QuikPark may collect and store any information that User provides to QuikPark. QuikPark may collect Personal Information provided by User as well as non-identifiable, aggregate information, such as information regarding the pages on this Site that User has visited, User’s IP address, device ID or unique identifier, referral URL, cookies, and web beacons. QuikPark may collect all of this information to detect broad demographic trends, to provide information tailored to User’s interests, and to enhance User’s experience on this Site.
Financial Information
QuikPark does not currently collect financial information (“Financial Information”), such as User’s payment information (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information). Financial Information is collected and stored by a third-party payment processing company (“Payment Processor”) and use and storage of that information is governed by the Payment Processor’s applicable terms of service and privacy policy. QuikPark, however, may from time to time request and receive some of User’s financial information from the Payment Processor for the purposes of completing transactions that User has initiated through the Site, enrolling User in discount, rebate, and other programs in which User elects to participate, protecting against or identifying possible fraudulent transactions, and otherwise as needed to operate its business.
How QuikPark Collects Personal Information
QuikPark collects information in order to perform its services, including but not limited to operating parking garages, providing parking rates, and providing and managing monthly parking accounts through which Users can request, register for and make one time or re-occurring automatic payments (collectively, the “Services”). QuikPark collects Personal Information to better tailor the features, performance and support of its Services and this Site, and to offer Users additional information about its Services.
QuikPark collects Personal Information as follows:
- When User voluntarily provides it to QuikPark
- When User registers and sets up an account
- When User signs up to receive emails or other communications
- When User makes purchases
- When User communicates with QuikPark
- When User enters a sweepstakes
- When User contacts QuikPark offline or submits information to QuikPark offline
- When User provides it through this Site
- From publicly available sources
- From third parties
How QuikPark Uses Personal Information
To Provide User Services. QuikPark uses User’s Personal Information to respond to requests that User makes, to help QuikPark serve User better, to provide informational or action items, to provide notices in relationship to billing, and to provide User with a personalized Site experience. If User has signed up to receive emails from QuikPark, QuikPark also uses User’s Personal Information to provide User with promotional emails for QuikPark’s Services, and for other marketing and advertising purposes.
To Tailor Marketing Information to User’s Interests. Based on User’s shopping habits when User visits this Site (what items User browses and what items User purchases), QuikPark, or its marketing partners and vendors, may send User personalized advertisements that identify Services QuikPark thinks may be of interest to User. QuikPark may also use User’s shopping habits to send User alerts regarding the availability of parking.
To create De-Identified Information. QuikPark may create de-identified information from Personal Information by excluding data (such as User’s name or email address) that makes the information personally identifiable to User. QuikPark’s use of de-identified information is not restricted by this Privacy Policy.
Disclosure of Information
Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, QuikPark does not sell, rent, or share User’s Personal Information with third parties. QuikPark discloses User’s Personal Information for the following purposes:
Fulfilling Orders and Maintaining Systems. QuikPark may share User’s Personal Information with third parties assisting QuikPark with conducting its business, including QuikPark’s Internet web site hosting company, gateway, Payment Processor, and any third party service providers. When User requests and/or purchases a Service from QuikPark, QuikPark may share select Personal Information, such as User’s shipping address and billing address, with third party fulfillment companies in the United States, in order to provide the Service to User. QuikPark also shares User’s Personal Information with third-party service providers in the United States that provide advertising and marketing services for QuikPark, including distribution of postal mail, electronic alerts, and e-mails to QuikPark’s customers and potential customers. QuikPark requires these third-party service providers to refrain from using User’s Personal Information, except to provide the Services requested by QuikPark. QuikPark also hires vendors that work on QuikPark’s systems that may have access to User’s Personal Information in the course of performing their duties. QuikPark requires those vendors to keep User’s Personal Information confidential and not to use it for their own purposes. By using this Site, User unequivocally consents to such use and disclosure of data as described herein, and as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy.
Sharing with Affiliates. QuikPark reserves the right to share some or all of User’s Personal Information with QuikPark’s subsidiaries, joint ventures, and other companies in the United States under QuikPark’s common control (collectively, “Affiliates”), for the purposes described in this policy. QuikPark will require its Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.
Acquisition, Sale, or Reorganization. If QuikPark needs to assign its rights and obligations regarding any of User’s Personal Information at the time of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of QuikPark’s assets to a subsequent owner or operator of this Site, User will be deemed to have consented to the disclosure to, and use by, such subsequent owner or operator, of any information about User contained in QuikPark’s files and records, so long as that use is in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Compliance with Laws and Protection of Rights. QuikPark reserves the right to disclose User’s Personal Information as well as non-personal information if QuikPark reasonably believes it is required to do so by law; to protect itself or to protect the rights of another user; to reduce risk of credit or other kind of fraud; or to comply with a subpoena or court order. QuikPark may use all, or part, of the information described in this Privacy Policy for investigatory, legal, and/or compliance purposes. In addition, QuikPark may use or disclose Personal Information to respond to a request, inquiry, or complaint that the User has made and/or to take action in connection with a perceived threat to U.S. homeland or national security, public safety anywhere in the world, or the conduct of international affairs, and assist authorities in the administration of any law.
Technologies Used
Third parties, widgets, and hosted solutions that QuikPark uses on this Site may use the following technologies for features, Services, advertising, or analytics:
Browser cookies are small pieces data placed on User’s computer as User navigates websites with User’s browser. Browser cookies allow websites and various third-parties to distinguish User’s device from others by having the cookie consist of a unique identifier or other data. Cookies can have many uses, such as to target advertising as well as to enable website functionality and for security. QuikPark uses both session cookies (which expire after User closes User’s web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on User’s computer until User deletes them). Persistent cookies can be removed by following User’s Internet browser help file directions. If User chooses to disable cookies, some areas of this Site may not work properly.
Local shared objects (such as “Flash” cookies) are associated with non-Browser software like Flash Player. Local shared objects can be used like cookies to distinguish User’s device from others, but will not be deleted or blocked using browser cookie controls. User can visit adobe.com for guidance on how to delete and block Flash cookies.
HTML5 local storage is another way that browsers can distinguish User’s device from others as well as remember data that may be important for the functioning of the website. Typically HTML5 local storage is only deleted if all Internet history, cache, and cookies are deleted. User should check User’s browser software for how to delete HTML5 local storage in User’s particular case.
Web beacons are image files that are used by third-party advertisers, analytics companies, and others. Web beacons are embedded in web pages User visits and cause User’s browser to share its IP address with the third-party source of the beacon, together with any cookies associated with that third-party. Web beacons can be used with or without cookies. Blocking cookies will not stop User’s IP address from being shared through the use of beacons.E-tags are used to prevent duplicative downloading of content to User’s browser, which can enhance browser performance.
E-tags use unique identifiers for content that can also be used to distinguish User’s browser in certain instances from others. Typically e-tags are only deleted if all Internet history, cache, and cookies are deleted. User should check User’s browser software for how to delete e-tags in User’s particular case.
Other technologies. This Site may occasionally use other technologies (i.e. widgets or other embedded technologies)both for purposes of advertising as well as for features and Services.
Contacting User and How to Stop Receiving Communications
QuikPark may contact User via electronic means or postal mail to notify User regarding User’s account in connection with the Services provided through the Site, to troubleshoot problems with User’s account information, to send User payment notifications, to resolve a dispute, to poll User’s opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to notify User of garage or vehicle conditions, or as otherwise necessary to service User’s account. QuikPark may contact Users as necessary to enforce its Terms and Conditions, applicable law, or any agreement QuikPark may have entered with User.
Where applicable and permitted by law, User may decline to receive certain communications by providing written notice to QuikPark at the contact address on the Site. For example, when User receives sales flyers, advertisements, direct mail, and other promotional communications from QuikPark, including email, User will have the opportunity to “opt-out” by following the “unsubscribe” instructions in the email User receives, or by contacting QuikPark directly. Please note that once User has submitted User’s email address to “unsubscribe,” User may continue to receive emails for a time while QuikPark’s system updates User’s request.
On QuikPark’s Site, QuikPark may change any of the Personal Information in User’s account by editing User’s account information.

Information from Children Under 13

Security
QuikPark has implemented technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to prevent access to User’s Personal Information by unauthorized persons.
